Informal application for admission to the Master Degree course, stating your

  • full name
  • full address
  • date of birth

 

For the acknowledgement of preliminary qualifications, the following documents are required (per e-mail, as a pdf):

  1. Certificate showing the successful completion of your curriculum
  2. Qualifications during your curriculum, sorted by
    • number of cases treated according to your curriculum
    • number of cases presented in your curriculum
    • number of seminar papers completed for your curriculum
    • number of cases handed in for your final exam
    • type of final exam
  1. Qualifications beyond the curriculum must be specified in tabular form in order to be taken into consideration.

 

The board of examiners reserves the right to view original papers upon request and to demand proof of the listed qualifications, if necessary.

Tuition fees

Tuition fees for the Master Degree course are 14.900€ per each academic year - in total 29,800 EUR. These fees include everything from observation in the dental office to equipment rental, from food and drinks to the final exam.

Not included are the costs for expendable supplies associated with the course. However, different manufacturers have committed to either supplying equipment such as NiTi rotary instruments free of charge or to offering special student prices (e.g. for NiTi instruments, ultrasonic tips).

The fees for the Master Degree course can be reduced by up to 2.000 EUR through credits based on preliminary qualifications. Creditable qualifications consist e.g. of successfully completed curricula at a German federal chamber of dentists, at the Academy for Practice and Science APW and/or at the German Association for Endodontics (DGEndo), of research periods spent at universities/institutes or of further education (such as EndoAdvance), if well documented. The individual acknowledgement of qualifications is at the sole discretion of the board of examiners appointed by Heinrich-Heine-Universität.

The payment of fees can be split into max 8 instalments.
